5 Organizing Tips that take 5 minutes or less

| May 3, 2011 | 1 Comments

1. Move anything that you don’t need on a daily basis to a nearby location other than your prime workspace.

2. If you have an overflow on office supplies, you might wish to donate the surplus to a local non-profit. To find a charity locally, look up www.charitywishlist.ca

3. Go through magazines that you’ve already read or will never find time to read, and donate recent issues to a local charity or library. If they are over a year old, you may wish to donate them to a daycare or kindergarten for them to cut out pictures.

4. Remove old items from your bulletin board. Put new ones up in date order, so it is easy to see birthday party invitations and other date-sensitive items.

5. Look outside and take a deep breath. A break can do more for your productivity than you can imagine.
