I have a virtual assistant, I really do! My virtual assistant is a real person, or at least I think so, as I have never met her in real life.
Janet Barclay was recommended to me a couple of years ago when I was thinking of redesigning my brand and website. Janet asked many, many detailed questions to get at the heart of what my goals and needs were then and in the future. As a web designer, she wanted the site to be able to grow and evolve with my needs. She introduced me to WordPress so that I could blog and not have a static site.
At that time, I thought that I would just need Janet to create the site. Little did I know that a couple of years forward she not only maintains the website but is a real help in all that I do. She has taught me about SEO, tags and just about anything to do with my website. Janet keeps me apprised of changes in social media such as the constant Facebook changes. She is my accountability coach for keeping my blog going, and she is right on top of me for submissions.
Janet has me planning my year out in advance, not only with the blog but with seminars and services that I provide, and ensures that I keep current. My business has grown since hiring her to redesign my website and being able to delegate items that she does better than I can.
