These are busy times we live in and, for those with families, quite possibly the busiest times. It became clear once we became Moms that two things happened, whether we wanted them to or not.
1) Things got even busier; and
2) the amount of ‘stuff’ in our lives compounded – tenfold (or so it felt).
Busier was our new reality. We adjusted. But something needed to be done about the ‘stuff’ and we wanted our children to be involved. Simply put, our children needed something to help us with keeping things tidy, something that they could manipulate independently, and want to use. We went looking, but came up short. We put our heads together and My Stow-n-Tow was born (only we didn’t know it at the time).
Out came the fabric and the sewing machine roared with delight. Totes were created and we found ourselves delighted in how quickly they were embraced and utilized. Sorting became fun and we did not have to beg at cleanup time. Our tots took ownership in a way we had not seen before happily carrying their totes along with them – convenient and portable entertainment. No more, “Mom , I’m tired! You carry this”. Other parents began to inquire and that is when we decided we needed to share these totes – it would be selfish not to.

While our totes won’t make our beds or do our laundry they have helped control the ‘stuff’ and encouraged our little ones to get involved and to feel good about themselves in the process. It’s a win-win for everyone.

I got a free tote from the Mother’s Day Giveaway event, and I have to say that I really love it! I love all bags in general, but more so the ones that are hand made. I definitely recommend this company!
I am constantly shuffling my stuff in and out of my big purse or backpack, depending on the day’s schedule. I could use a few of these for my gym stuff (lock, towel, membership, etc), band rehearsal (notebooks, beer
